The Lake Superior Basket is the fifth basket in the Great Lakes Series. This basket has a unique pattern with two wood bases. The bottom woven basket is open at one end as a secret place for accessories. Weaving continues up through the second base to give the inside of the basket a second "floor". The shaker tape handle is woven from bottom up, and covers the opening at the side so accessories do not fall out. It has a snap closure. The basket is woven in sand, teal blue, teal green and marine blue. The rim is finished with a beautiful woven braid. Included in the kit is a stone from Lake Superior and it is connected to the basket via rock wrapping.
